View House

View house is a beach front residence identifiable by its protruding glass box, capturing the commanding view to the Port Phillip Bay.
The design has explored the notion of transparency, where the objective was the desire for uninhibited views inside and out, but protecting from the southerly winds. The controlled glass enclosure provides shelter and draws attention to its surroundings.
This family home has dedicated its Living spaces to the upper level where its viewing platforms from the kitchen at its core position enables amazing viewpoints from deep inside the home.
The parents retreat also on the upper level has been cleverly positioned achieving water views from an oblique angle and through the living spaces itself.
Our design team worked closely with the clients to create a home that not only met their functional requirements but also incorporated their personal eclectic style.
