A north-facing courtyard on the ground floor floods the south-facing living areas with natural light, while extruded balcony elements offer both a striking entrance and effective shading.

Essendon House, located on Cooper Street, is a remarkable renovation that transforms a traditional weatherboard dwelling into a refined modern sanctuary. The design brief called for a thoughtful balance between old and new celebrating the home’s original character while introducing contemporary elements that enhance liveability, comfort, and connection.

Designed with a relaxed beach vibe, these two distinct properties are thoughtfully separated to enhance privacy and individuality. Each building embraces its own character while complementing the coastal surroundings, creating a harmonious yet unique living experience. Expansive living spaces designed for comfort and style, with the kitchen as the main focal point spacious, functional, and beautifully crafted. The elegant master bedroom and ensuite offer a serene retreat, thoughtfully designed with refined finishes and a sophisticated touch.

The Brighton House
The Brighton House is designed for the bayside setting, characterised by its pure white sculptural element against curvilinear fluted concrete plinth.
Feature concrete wall runs deep into the entry of the house, drawing you toward the 3 main living zones . Living, Kitchen/Dining zones are accentuated by a tall featured fluted concrete wall linking it to the outdoor living.

View House
View house is a beach front residence identifiable by its protruding glass box, capturing the commanding view to the Port Phillip Bay.
The design has explored the notion of transparency, where the objective was the desire for uninhibited views inside and out, but protecting from the southerly winds. The controlled glass enclosure provides shelter and draws attention to its surroundings.
